Creative agency GUT is expanding its network into Asia with the opening of its latest office in Singapore. This is the tenth office globally for the six-year-old agency founded in Argentina and based in Miami.
Jessica Davey, former head of clients at Media Monks APAC, will helm the new office as managing director. She will be joined by Carlos Camacho, formerly of David, as chief creative officer and Belynda Sim-Mak, who was cultural strategy lead at Le Pub APAC, as the new head of strategy. All will report to global CEO Andrea Diquez.

Founded in 2018, GUT burst onto the global scene after taking Cannes Lions by storm in 2023, winning Agency of the Year and immediately plotting 'global domination' and quickly establishing global offices in places like London, Madrid, and just last month, New York. Last November, GUT sold a majority stake to Argentinian-based global tech consultancy Globant. At Cannes last June, it announced the creation of the Globant GUT Network.

Originally from Melbourne, Davey has lived and worked in Shanghai, Hong Kong, London, and Singapore in senior positions at agencies including Ogilvy, Geometry, and McCann in her 20-plus years in the industry.
Others joining the new GUT Singapore office include Liz Leow, formerly of ADK, as group account director, along with creative director Meyvi Wedelia, most recently at Toaster.
Camacho, the new CCO, stems from Colombia but first moved to Asia in 2013 where he ended up working in Ho Chi Minh, Shanghai, and Hong Kong for nearly a decade at agencies including Lowe, JWT, and Wunderman Thompson. He was previously featured in Campaign Asia's 40 under 40 in 2015 and later moved on to Amsterdam before returning to Colombia.
Prior to LePub, Sim-Mak was head of strategy for APAC at VCCP Singapore, after serving as head of cultural intelligence at TBWA Singapore for the six years prior.
