The data are based on the daily deals from 14 sites in six categories in Singapore. The deal-buying industry is estimated to have generated SG$129.6 million (US$104.3 million) in 2012, while Groupon Singapore came out as the industry leader at the end of Q1 2013, according to ADL.

Groupon Singapore's market share was 51.07 per cent, followed by Deal (21.46 per cent) and Plus! Big Deal (8.11 per cent).

“The e-commerce industry in Singapore is a dynamic and fluid one,” said Jason Lee, AllDealsLeak CEO and founder. “Constant measurement and analytics is necessary in the retail sector to identify consumer trends and demands, which will help deals sites pick out relevant offerings and refine their growth strategy.”

The data show that Groupon, Deal and Plus!Big Deal were also the top three sites in some of the key categories, including goods and products, health and beauty, and food and beverage.
