G2PR will shape the local and regional communications strategy for the hotel’s opening, in addition to executing strategic planning, strategy development, implementation and execution of media and stakeholder outreach initiatives.

The 540-room Doubletree by Hilton in Kuala Lumpur is a multi-million dollar redesign and renovation project taking shape northeast of KL City Center, near the prestigious Embassy Row. Its opening will also mark the first full service upscale hotel to open in the Malaysian capital this year.

“The appointment of G2PR is integral to our PR and advertising campaign," said Ian Barrow, general manager at Doubletree by Hilton at Kuala Lumpur.

"Together we are looking forward to engage our friends in the media and communicate to our key stakeholders Doubletree by Hilton’s warm, friendly and caring service culture, the key differentiation for us in Malaysia’s competitive hospitality environment."

“I am confident that G2PR’s proven expertise coupled with our award-winning brand and a great product will help to position our Doubletree by Hilton as the preferred hotel in the heart of KL city. I am equally positive that our partnership will prove mutually beneficial,” he added.

Raymond Siva, general manager of G2PR attributed this win to a "passionate and creative team supported by solid consumer insights".  From the onset, we immersed ourselves in Doubletree by Hilton’s brand heritage, industry and varying market dynamics for a high-impact communications campaign."
