Gillette names Jennifer Lopez as global ambassador

GLOBAL - Singer and actress Jennifer Lopez will star in a new campaign for Gillette Venus, the women's razor brand owned by Procter & Gamble, which will include TV, online, print and social media activity.

Lopez has been chosen as the brand's global ambassador to 'inspire women globally', using the strapline 'reveal the goddess in you'.

Lopez, who has remade the song 'Venus' to support the tie-up, will feature in the Gillette Venus marketing campaign, running across TV, print, digital, social media and in-store activity.

dedicated section of the Gillette Venus site, called Goddess Central, asks women to share their 'Goddess story', with US$1 donated to the Venus Goddess fund for education with every story submitted, to a maximum of 5,000 stories.
