SINGAPORE - À La Carte Productions, a subsidiary of Peter Knipp Holdings, has handed the management of its culinary event World Gourmet Summit (WGS) to Fulford PR.

Fulford PR to handle World Gourmet Summit

The appointment, which was made in December after a pitch called in October, will see Fulford PR managing all local and international media relations and activities over the two-week gastronomical journey, with dining theme of Artisan & The Art of Dining, to be held from 16 to 26 April.

The agency will also manage all media relations for the upcoming Awards of Excellence, to be held in late March, as part of the World Gourmet Series.

Now in its 17th year, WGS is organised by À La Carte Productions, presented by Citibank and supported by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB).

Peter A. Knipp, CEO of Peter Knipp Holdings, as well as co-founder and creative force behind the World Gourmet Summit, noted that the appointment will be instrumental in its efforts to continue the tradition of delivering the finest culinary experience in the local and regional dining scene.

The summit targets global, regional and local members of the culinary F&B landscape such as restaurateurs, vintners, sommeliers and food critics, as well as aspiring cooks and consumers who either already appreciate fine cuisine or have not had the opportunity to appreciate an authentically gourmet experience.

“As Singapore’s dining scene has evolved, so too has the World Gourmet Summit,” said Izzie Saleh Ali, associate business development director of Fulford PR. “We felt an immediate synergy with the goals, ideas and philosophies behind this most prestigious and established of culinary events.”
