Focus Media marks 500th building for its OOH TV network with new Cheung Kong partnership

HONG KONG - Focus Media and Cheung Kong further strengthen partnership, with Metropolis Mall being the first shopping mall under Fortune Reit to join Focus Media’s OOH TV network.

This marks the 500th office buildings and shopping malls under Focus Media’s Digital OOH network in Hong Kong.

Owned by Fortune REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust), an affiliate of Cheung Kong, The Metropolis Mall, located next to the Hunghom MTR Station, is a popular shopping destination and neighouring offices in Hong Kong's Kowloon CBD.

Apart from the Metropolis Mall, Focus Media's screens are also deployed at 18 other Cheung Kong's properties, including five owned by Prosperity REIT in Hong Kong and six owned by Suntec REIT in Singapore.

The company boasts that its office and commercial Building digital network now reach to more than 1.3 million unique business executives every day.

P J Wong, co-founder, chairman and CEO of Focus Media Hong Kong and Singapore, said Cheung Kong is one of Focus' most supportive network partners since they created this unique communication platform at elevator-lobbies in early 2004.

"We are excited about this latest addition and welcome the Metropolis Mall as our 500th building under our office and commercial building digital network in Hong Kong," he said.
