FIC appoints director of ad sales and partnerships in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR - Fox International Channels (FIC) has hired Pramila Rajagopal as the director of ad sales and partnerships for Malaysia.

The objective of the newly created position is to tap into the growing Pay TV advertising market and expand the company's reach with advertisers and agencies in Malaysia and Brunei.

Reporting to Basil Chua, territory head of Fox International Channels, Rajagopal is charged with growing the multi-market and local ad sales budgets while expanding the client base and building on strong relationships with current advertisers and agencies.

Rajagopal has 18 years of experience in television and print advertising.

FIC's network of 12 SD and HD channels, including National Geographic Channel, Nat Geo Wild, Star World, Fox, FX and Fox Movies Premium on Astro delivers a cumulative reach of over 10 million television households across the country.

“We are confident that with Pramila leading the ad sales team, she will be able to continue the aggressive growth of our ad sales business,” Chua said.
