Evelyn Wang heads to Optimedia Shanghai from Havas Media

SHANGHAI - Optimedia Shanghai has appointed Evelyn Wang (王琛豪) as deputy general manager after she spent nearly five years at Havas Media.

Reporting to Vivien Xu, managing director of Optimedia Shanghai, Wang is tasked to manage key accounts including Kering, Perfetti Van Melle and Fiat, as well as drive business growth.

With 11 years of experience in media planning across FMCG, auto and luxury categories, Wang was a pioneer in the establishment of a digital planning team in her previous agency Havas Media, where she served as executive partner. She first joined Havas Media as a planning director in 2010 and helped to usher in the merger of Media Contacts and MPG with Havas Media.

"I want my team [at Optimedia Shanghai] to be a leading, integrated marketing team in this challenging and competitive market, equipped with capabilities that go beyond the conventional," Wang said of her new role.
