Wang Lao Ji has tapped the Havas agency to take on public relations and point-of-sale duties. The leading herbal tea brand will leverage Field Force’s marketing services unit to launch a series of events in China.

Field Force, which covers a range of marketing services including field marketing, events, public relations and retail, has more than 30,000 part-time employees across the country.

Separately, the agency will take on national retail and in-store marketing communications for Yili’s yoghurt range. It won the brief following a pitch against Dawson, Betterway and Spearhead.

Euro RSCG is already creative agency-of-record for several of the dairy giant’s brands, including Yili Pure Milk, Yili LHT Milk and Yili Breakfast Milk.

In January, GroupM was awarded Yili's media account in mainland China.

In May, WE Marketing Beijing won the creative development business for one of Wang Lao Ji’s communication campaigns for 2009 and 2010.
