The 'My country, my cheer' Facebook application, available in Singapore, Malaysia and India, allows visitors to post words of encouragement in support of Olympic athletes.

Visitors can pick a pixel from a visual on their country-specific page to post their well-wishes. The pixel then displays the user’s Facebook profile picture within the visual.

Users can also share their cheers on their individual Facebook walls, invite their friends to participate, and also tweet about it.

The application provides a detailed programming schedule for the lead up and duration of the Games.

ESPN STAR Sports secured the exclusive non-standard television rights, including cable and satellite television, from the International Olympic Committee for the Vancouver 2010 and London 2012 Olympic Games for 22 countries across the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia.
