In July, it was reported that CTF was on the lookout for an advertising agency on a consultant basis.
CTF is said to have tasked Draft FCB with above-the-line and branding activities. The work is also likely to translate to mainland China.
According to China Retail News, the CTF Group is investing heavily in China in the coming three years. A RMB200 million (US$30 million) is put into place for the opening of a regional retail headquarter in Shenzhen.
CTF currently boasts with more than 1,000 jewellery outlets in the mainland. Its sales is expected to reach RMB30 billion (US$4 billion) in 2010, up 50 per cent from last year. Chen Shichang, director of CTF Group and general manager for the China region, said the company aims to double the store numbers in the market.
