Converseon, CIC announce partnership on Chinese social media monitoring

The partnership extends Converseon's social mining capabilities into mainland China, while enabling CIC to access Converseon's other multi-language capabilities and social media consulting services for its clients.

The agreement helps marry a Chinese based "best of breed" provider into Converseon's rapidly expanding global listening platform to help provide multi-national brands with a consistent, robust and comprehensive social listening solution.

"With the market increasingly looking for a single robust multi-language social listening platform capable of leveraging 'best of breed' in market solutions, we are pleased to be able to partner with CIC given their experience and strong reputation for excellence in the Chinese marketplace," says Rob Key, founder and CEO of Converseon.

"Since 2004, CIC has been mapping social media intelligence across multinational organisations for business results in China," says Sam Flemming, CIC's chairman and founder.

"We believe that partnering with Converseon provides a far superior solution to our mutual clients than trying tack on technology and solutions developed for Western markets which simply don't work in China."
