Citi's Francesco Lagutaine joins UA&P Tambuli Awards 2011 jury

PHILIPPINES – Francesco Lagutaine, regional head of marketing and customer experience in Asia-Pacific at Citibank, has been selected as the seventh member of the regional jury at the UA&P Tambuli Awards 2011.

Named after a horn-like musical instrument used in the country, the Tambuli Awards recognises achievements in the area of marketing profitability or effectiveness, as well as the promotion of societal values. This is the fifth time the school of communications at the University of Asia and the Pacific will be staging the event.

He joins a growing roster that already includes Pete Heskett, Southeast Asia planning director at JWT Singapore; Calvin Soh, chief creative officer in Asia at Publicis; Angeli Beltran, regional senior director at Dentsu Asia; Shakir Moin, Coca-Cola Pacific marketing director, Coca-Cola Philippines; David Mayo, president of Ogilvy & Mather Advertising Asia-Pacific; and Jeffrey Seah, CEO of Southeast Asia at Starcom Mediavest Group.

The Tambuli Awards will honour the following categories: Best Small Budget Brand Campaign, Best Established Brand Campaign, Best Innovative and Integrated Media Campaign, Best Insights and Strategic Thinking, Best Teens Campaign, Best Family-Oriented Brand Campaign, Best Fashion Brand Campaign, Best Media-Initiated Campaign, Best Advocacy Campaign, Best Public Relations-Initiated Campaign, and Best in Creative Idea and Execution.

The Tambuli Awards night is set on 9 June 2011.
