With a new signature, format and set, the show takes over where its predecessor Primetime Morning left off, with Suzanne Jung and Steven Chia continuing to helm the programme.

A.M. Live! begins at 6.30am with an early edition segment packed with updated world news, business and market reports.

From 7am, itl then broadcasts lifestyle features on health and fitness, food, the arts, movies and music. The show ends at 9am.

Chan Eu Imm joins the team with the top news stories, while Patrick Fok updates on business news and market reports.

Audrey Ang, executive editor at Channel NewsAsia, said while Primetime Morning celebrated its tenth year on air this year, it was a good time for change, a new look and a new format.

“We want to involve viewers a lot more. There’ll be, for example, a segment where our presenters introduce a topic each morning and engage viewers for their thoughts and opinions, through interactive media,” she added.

Viewers can give live comments and feedback through social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Channel NewsAsia’s website.
