Park (pictured) will be responsible for driving business development and managing operations for the agency. He was most recently with Edelman in Taiwan, tasked with servicing the firm’s global clients and building a client base with a focus on the technology sector.

Prior to that, he served as a senior member of the digital entertainment and technology practice at Edelman Los Angeles.

In the past six months, Bite Communications has won several major accounts like CommVault, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), method, SoftLayer and Sybase for strategic traditional and digital communications services.

These assignments will leverage Bite’s Asia-Pacific network of offices and its point of view communications approach that delivers integrated campaigns across owned, earned and paid media.

David Ketchum, president Asia Pacific of Bite Communications, noted that Bite Asia Pacific has grown tremendously in the past year driven by a strong team of dedicated consultants who strive to push the boundaries in the new era of communications.

“With a talented executive like James, who will undoubtedly further complement to the great talent we have in Singapore, Bite Singapore is well-positioned to deliver,” he said.

Commenting on his appointment, Park said, “This is an exciting time for the communications industry especially here in Singapore, which is seeing increasing demand for campaigns that integrate compelling content with a combination of traditional and digital channels."
