Hall, the current sales director at Big Mobile, has been promoted to the newly created role of managing director for Australasia. He reports to Dave Green, group CEO of Big Mobile, who had been overseeing the Australasia operation.

Graham Christie, group commercial director and partner at Big Mobile, said it’s the right time to put a dedicated leader in place, due to continued expansion of the business in Australia and New Zealand and its plans for future growth in Southeast Asia.

Hall joined Big Mobile in 2009 and became Australasia sales director in the first half of 2012.

Big Mobile has also added Australia’s property website realestate.com.au and CBS Interactive to its portfolio, which now reaches 14 million Australians through more than 80 premium sites and apps across smartphones and tablets.

Realestate.com.au is ranked the fourth most visited mobile site in Australia by Nielsen Market Intelligence (July 2012), with a total of 3.29 million visits. CBS Interactive runs sites including CNET, ZDNet and GameSpot.

Big Mobile has operations in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Jakarta and Auckland, and is due to open a Singapore location in the second quarter. It has worked with advertisers including American Express, Emirates, Jaguar, Clearasil, BT, Commonwealth Bank and Coca-Cola.
