Bharad Ramesh joins SMG in dual-capacity regional role

SINGAPORE - Starcom MediaVest Group (SMG) has announced the appointment of Bharad Ramesh to the position of regional executive director, strategic operations and trading for Asia.

Bharad Ramesh joins SMG in dual-capacity regional role
In this dual-capacity role, Ramesh will oversee both the enhancement of SMG’s working processes on multinational clients such as Procter & Gamble, as well as leverage agency size to capitalise on trading opportunities in the marketplace across the spectrum of its clients in the region.

Ramesh will be reporting to both Jaswinder Kaur, regional managing director at Starcom MediaVest Group, on the operations front, and Jeffrey Seah, CEO of Starcom MediaVest Group, on trading responsibilities.

Kaur said she is confident that the varied experience Ramesh brings will propel the agency even further, and faster to continue to build stronger operations in its markets for the overall benefit of its key clients in the region.

Ramesh joins SMG armed with a decade of experience, having worked in markets such as China, India, the US, and most recently as deputy managing director at Mindshare in Singapore. He left Mindshare in February this year.

Ramesh said: “I am excited by the opportunity to work with the dynamic Starcom MediaVest Group teams across the region in growing the market share for some of the world’s largest advertisers with the support of local and regional media owners”.
