BBDO Guerrero Proximity appoints Joe Dy as creative director in the Philippines

MANILA – Joe Dy has been appointed head of copy and creative director at BBDO Guerrero Proximity Philippines. He joins from JWT Manila where he worked on accounts including, Ford, Kraft, Red Horse Beer, Nokia, Unilever, Shell and HSBC.

Dy has over 13 years experience in the industry. Prior to JWT, he was at Leo Burnett Manila where he gained valuable experience working on brands like P&G and McDonalds.

Commenting on the hire, Tin Sanchez, joint executive creative director of BBDO Guerrero Proximity Philippines said, “Joe is one of the most talented writers in the country, and his work has been consistently recognised at the world’s leading shows including Cannes, Clio, Spikes, Award and LIA.”

Sanchez, who worked with Dy at JWT prior to joining BBDO Guerrero Proximity Philippines said he is really looking forward to working with Dy once again. “He is a talented and tireless writer who is always pushing the boundaries to make the work better.”

Dy added, “BBDO Guerrero Proximity Philippines is a great agency that celebrates the power of creative work. Their people are known to be talented and passionate champions of creativity, and I’m really looking forward to working with them.”
