A spokesperson confirmed that the digital roster has been finalised for Singapore, adding that the company was not in a position to give details of the agencies or the brands it works with.
This follows a review of the FMCG’s existing agencies in order to formalise a digital agency roster across all Unilever brands. “Not a pitch, but a review of our existing digital agencies,” said a spokesperson.
Agencies were not at liberty to comment, but boutique shop Arcade continues to be on the digital roster for Unilever Singapore and will continue to handle the Clear brand. Arcade is the agency behind www.clearparis.com
Tribal DDB Singapore is also understood to be on the finalised roster, having also recently been awarded the Cornetto regional digital brief.
Unilever has been working with a number of agencies on the digital side including Ogilvy One, Euro RSCG and Sapient Nitro.
The company is increasingly adopting digital media for its personal care brands, headed up by Singapore-based Victor Fernandez-Lahore, director, global media innovation, Lux, Clear, Lifebuoy, Ponds, and CloseUp.
Digital also appears to be becoming a larger focus for Unilever's food brands, with the recent appointment of Singapore local digital specialist GoodStuph to handle the Ben & Jerry's brand.
