Arc Worldwide picks up comms duties for Sri Lanka Telecom

COLOMBO - Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) has selected Arc Worldwide Sri Lanka to manage its PR, events and activation assignments, after a pitch involving nine other advertising and activations agencies.

With the win, Arc Worldwide Sri Lanka, a part of Leo Burnett Solutions, will be responsible for managing the critical customer engagement activities for SLT and to help build the ROI for the blue-chip Sri Lankan company. The agency will also handle SLT's PR-related operations as well as the event and activation of SLT Corporate, SLTnet, SLT Rainbow Pages, SLT PEO TV and SLT Sky Networks.

Both parties have agreed on a partnership for an initial two-year period with a further option for a third year extension.

The SLT Group has a customer base of 5.5 million, providing voice, data, video and mobile services, as well as data transmission services, internet, leased lines, broadband and dial up services.
