APCO names Snoddon Asia chief executive

ASIA-PACIFIC - Public relations consultancy APCO Worldwide has appointed vice chairman Larry Snoddon (pictured) as chief executive of its Asia region.

APCO names Snoddon Asia chief executive
Snoddon replaces Chris Murck, who having led the network’s operation in Asia for the past four years is set to assume the role of senior counsellor. Murck will reportedly continue to act as vice chairman in the region and as a member of the firm’s international advisory council.

Snoddon commented in a statement that Asia was of particular strategic importance at this time given the economic crisis. According to a spokesperson for the company, Snoddon will draw on his “extensive” experience in sectors such as public affairs, healthcare and financial communications to provide senior counsel to clients.

The new role will see Snoddon relocate from New York to Hong Kong.
