APCO hires new director for SEA business

SINGAPORE – APCO Worldwide has appointed Ashley Knapp as a director to strengthen its corporate and consumer PR offering in Southeast Asia.

Based in Singapore, Knapp will report to Garry Walsh, regional managing director for Southeast Asia.

She will focus on the firm’s corporate communication and public relations practice, as well as complement its government relations, public affairs and strategic consultancy business.

Knapp joins APCO from Grayling Public Relations, where she led that agency's corporate and consumer client portfolio in Asia-Pacific. She has more than eight years of experience in pan-regional reputation management, issues and crisis management, and internal communication. With expertise in the food and beverage, aviation and consumer goods sectors, Knapp has worked with companies such as Diageo, British Airways, Qantas, Embraer and Unilever.
