APB's Wong takes on marketing position in Vietnam

Vietnam is currently the company’s largest market, and is also the largest market for its Tiger and Heineken beer products.

Wong was previously the company’s head of marketing, commercial, which she assumed in 2009. She led the company’s portfolio of 16 brands to deliver "great beer experiences" around core interest areas of sport, food and music as well as shopper marketing programs that strengthened the brands across the portfolio.

These programmes include the Heineken’s innovative Secret Gallery STR campaign, as well as Guinness’ Live Unplugged activations that focus on live music experience for fans and consumers.

Wong first joined APB in 2001, where she held various marketing and commercial leadership positions across its portfolio of brands. She then moved to Fraser & Neave in 2005 and headed up its food business.

Rene de Monchy will be joining APB on 14 November, from DB Breweries, to assume the position of head of marketing, commercial.  She is currently the consumer marketing manager there.
