Aegis Media told Campaign the time was right for a new senior client-side role. It is looking to create  more multi-market client relationships and deliver more innovative solutions across the region's markets, a spokesman said.

With his additional duties, Ryan will remain based in Hong Kong and report to Jean Lin, CEO of Isobar Asia-Pacific. Lin points out that Ryan's responsibilities include driving regional client development for Isobar across Asia-Pacific to bolster the agency's focus on servicing clients and meet their increasing demand on multi-market digital delivery.

Ryan started with Isobar Hong Kong in June 2008,  and was then responsible for business development, growing the group's search business, setting up a strong planning function, and launching the social CRM product, Astro.

In 2009, he was promoted to CEO of Aegis Media Hong Kong, responsible for managing the three Aegis Media brands: Isobar, Carat, and iProspect.

Isobar most recently was appointed the digital agency of record for Kellogg's in Asia-Pacific and South Africa.
