The Sweet Shop creates four seasons in one ad for Dulux

NEW ZEALAND - The Sweet Shop director Melanie Bridge has created a TV spot for Dulux Weathershield blending handcrafted and computer animation to promote the paint's 'power to protect' against any weather.

wide player in 16:9 format. Used on article page for Campaign.

In partnership with agency Clemenger BBDO Wellington, production company The Sweet Shop created this TVC titled 'Weather' for Dulux's Weathershield paint product. The concept behind the project is to take consumers on a journey of what their house looks like "in any weather, any colour and in any storm".

The Sweet Shop director Melanie Bridge blends handcrafted and computer animation to create the stop motion house painting scenes.

According to Bridge, the team set out to make it look like the couple had actually painted the house and created a stop-motion animation frame-by-frame.

“The key thing that we always had to ask ourselves was whether it was believable that
it had been created for real,” she said.
