MediaCorp celebrates women's variety of roles

SINGAPORE - MediaCorp has unveiled a Women's Day campaign, as part of its annual ‘MediaCorp Celebrates Women’ initiative, to communicate the variety that makes women's lives more interesting and colorful.

The month-long campaign, which started on 1 March, uses a fun yet relevant way to express the complexities of a woman’s role in life. It brings into play one of women’s most beloved accessories – shoes – to demonstrate the variety, colour and creativity that women enjoy as they step into a variety of roles everyday.

The campaign spans across multiple channels, such as TV, radio, magazines, print, OOH and online. The advertisement can be seen at bus-stop six-sheet posters; bus-stop TV screens; digital screens at ION, Orchard Central and Bugis; as well as ambient advertising at ION Orchard.

The ambient advertising at ION Orchard will see the display of 31 pairs of women shoes on a gigantic calendar, for the month of March, from 17 to 29 March.

“The modern woman has really stepped up to the different roles in her life, carrying a burden that outweighs even her male counterparts,” Terrence Tan, chief creative officer and founder of Ice Inc, said. “And we want to celebrate her strengths, complexities and beauty in true feminine style, by expressing it through something dear to most ladies - shoes and handbags.”
