SINGAPORE - Caspar Schlickum (李思柏), CEO of Xaxis for Europe, Middle East and Africa for the last five years, has been appointed as Wunderman's Asia-Pacific CEO, effective in September.

Schlickum succeeds Martin Conneen, who is leaving to "pursue new opportunities", according to the company. Conneen worked with Wunderman for a decade and served as president of Asia-Pacific for the past two years.

He will oversee Wunderman’s Asia-Pacific operations, which together employ about 1,000 people across 28 offices in 14 countries, and will be responsible for developing and expanding the agency’s offering with a particular emphasis on digital and data-driven marketing.

Prior to Xaxis, Schlickum spent four years at Mindshare and one year at Kantar, all under WPP. Before that, he was vice president in investment banking for Deutsche Bank based in Sydney, Australia.
