Independent digital agency VLT has agreed to a joint venture with MSA, Cambodia’s largest media agency.

The agreement sees VLT move into Cambodia by bringing a team of digital strategy, design and content specialists to MSA’s Phnom Penh office, which has more than 250 employees.

VLT will serve MSA’s existing clients and seek out new opportunities, with the combined group bringing digital and media capabilities together in an integrated offering.

"We are thrilled to have our first presence in Indochina created with MSA,” said Adrian Lim, CEO of VLT. “Cambodia is a young growth market in the center of an ecosystem hungry for digital content and services, and we are proud to be able to share our experience growing some of the world's best brands with our new partners there."

MSA’s client portfolio includes Eva Air, AIA, Smart, Yeo’s, Revlon, Wrigley’s and Sanofi. Phirun Kao, CEO of MSA, said the VLT partnership will also help drive much-needed “progressive growth in Cambodia’s digital advertising”.

“People consume content seamlessly across all mediums, and that should also be how we think,” he added.
