As part of its greater investment in the Asia Pacific region, Acxiom has relocated Poon from its office in Silicon Valley to take up her new position as director of agency services. She will capitalise on the region’s strong digital growth and is tasked to grow the company’s business in Singapore.

Previously the digital account director in her decade-long stint with Acxiom, Poon has been instrumental in driving the company to be ranked one of the top advertising and customer relationship management firms worldwide.

In her new role, Poon will focus on customer relationship strategies, digital best practices and multichannel marketing through internet, mobile, email and direct mail. “Global and regional clients alike will benefit from her experience in driving breakthrough results for many of the world’s great companies,” said Frederic Jouve, CEO, Acxiom Greater China.

With established offices in Hong Kong, China, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore, Poon’s appointment signals Acxiom’s continued investment in Asia Pacific region. The company also recently expanded into Australia by acquiring digital marketing agency XYZdirect.

"My goal is to help our clients capture more business opportunities through Acxiom's digital and database marketing solutions," Poon said. "I am looking forward to sharing our best practices and skill sets with our clients and prospects."
