UPDATE: Billboard Kwok resigns as MD of Euro RSCG 4D China

BEIJING AND SHANGHAI - Billboard Kwok, MD of Euro RSCG 4D China in charge of the Shanghai and Beijing offices, is believed to have resigned.

Kwok will be succeeded by Robert Lai, head of digital at Euro RSCG 4D Shanghai. Lai joined Euro RSCG China last year from mobile marketing agency Madhouse. He will remain based in Shanghai where his promotion takes effect on 1 September.

According to industry sources, Kwok will take up a senior role at a large Chinese e-commerce company in September. He has over 15 years' experience in the marketing industry in the Greater China region, including 13 years with Ogilvy & Mather.

Mason Lin, Greater China CEO, commented, "Billboard was tasked with establishing the right teams, and as he completes his mission, we are pleased to have Robert step up to lead our digital efforts. Robert has shown exceptional leadership and results, and our digital ambitions remain high as we focus on the second half of the year."

Prior to joining Euro RSCG, Kwok was involved with two digital start-up companies over three years, including mobile media outfit WE and most recently iCoupon.

He has served a prolific range of local and international clients including IBM, Siemens, KFC, BMW, Kraft, Pepsi Foods and Gome.
