Unilever selects OgilvyOne as Axe’s digital agency in Indonesia

SINGAPORE - Unilever Indonesia has appointed OgilvyOne as digital agency of record for Axe.

Unilever selects OgilvyOne as Axe’s digital agency in Indonesia

The appointment was announced on 1 June, following a pitch process one and a half months ago.
OgilvyOne Indonesia will be managing both the digital and social activities for Axe, including the brand’s global campaign 'Apollo' in Indonesia.

The digital campaign, which runs until the end of the year, gives consumers a chance to win a spot on a suborbital flight, a journey through which a guy can 'Leave a Man. Come Back a Hero', according to the agency.

The new win is followed by appointment of OgilvyOne as digital agency for other Unilever brands earlier this year, including Ponds, Rinso, Buavita and Lipton.

Azalea Aina, country digital manager for Unilever, said the Axe brand is a precursor in digital for Unilever, and OgilvyOne was chosen for its ability to bring Axe to life in the digital space even more and "deliver brilliant creative ideas to drive engagement with our consumer".

Editor's note: This story was edited after initial publication. Based on agency information, the story originally said the appointment was only for the 'Apollo' campaign.
