Christoper Graves, global CEO of Ogilvy Public Relations is returning to host the AMEs for the second year in a row. In a recent video interview with Media, Graves said he would like to see a tie back to what the clients care about at this year's festival as there would be no awards without them.

Highlights on the programme include Martin Lindstrom's keynote address titled 'The buyology of an amazing idea' on the first morning followed by the AME debate bringing together industry leaders from OMG, Standard Chartered Bank, Ogilvy & Mather, TBWA and Kraft to discuss the pressures facing the advertising and marketing industry and to define the way forward for effective communications.

On day two SY Lau, president of online media at Tencent, will share his experience on how to leverage social marketing and the power of the medium in China. Other speakers on the day include Ogilvy's Tim Broadbent, Bates 141's Fareeda Cassumbhoy, Christophe Archimbault from P&G, eatbigfish founder Adam Morgan, MRM Worldwide's Reuben Hendel among others.

The judges, chaired by Bob O'Leary, managing director of global advertising at Citi, will convene for the judging session taking place on Tuesday and the final results will be announced at the awards ceremony on Thursday night. The results will be available online at Media.asia after the ceremony.

The main conference sessions will be simultaneously translated into Chinese.

News and highlights from the conference will be available on Media.asia throughout the week.

The AMEs is now in its eighth year and hailed as the region’s premier recognition of excellence in marketing effectiveness.
