Moult will take the national position as the executive chairman and oversee all Ogilvy’s network agencies with the exception of Ogilvy PR. The agencies under Moult are Ogilvy & Mather Sydney, Ogilvy Group Melbourne1, Ogilvy One, Ogilvy Action and Neo@Ogilvy.

Moult describes the offer at Ogilvy is an opportunity that he simply could not turn down. “There is no doubt that Ogilvy is one of the strongest agency groups in the country. It has the unbeatable combination of being one of the world’s strongest brands, with the advantage of local control,” he said.

Moult will work closely with CEO Stuart O’Brien.

Moult was most recently the chairman at Euro RSCG South Pacific Group. He also founded The Moult Agency in 2001.

Ogilvy & Mather in Australia is in a joint venture partnership with STW Group.
