Ye takes up this newly created post with more than 20 years of experience and will be responsible for developing business solutions that use the influence of TMG's fast-growing network of original content creators in China. He will be based in Shanghai and will report to Scott Pollack, TMG's EVP and managing director.

"At this point in our development, we had to find a passionate sales leader who understands what leading brands need while at the same time embracing the innovative and dynamic solutions we offer—Vincent is that sales leader and we are delighted to have him join our team,” commented Pollack.

At Taomee, a children's entertainment and media company, Ye led the team to deliver RMB78 million (US$13 million) in net sales and marketing in China. He was also instrumental in the promotion of Seer 4, the latest installment in a popular Chinese film series based on an online game that was the No 1 animated film last year in the market, bringing in RMB65 million in box office ticket sales in 2014.

Prior to Taomee, Ye also worked at leading MNCs in China including Mattel, the Walt Disney Company and Coca-Cola.

Ye said he had elected to join TMG as a change from two decades of working with Fortune 500 companies. "I’m ready to join an innovative and dynamic industry and I’m looking forward to bringing Thoughtful’s highly-impactful solutions to the world’s top brands.”

TMG's multichannel network recently partnered with Apple's Beats Electronics, Unilever, Ford, and Haier.
