Text 100 hires regional digital strategist

SYDNEY - Text 100 Sydney has hired former Amnesia social media manager Karalee Evans as its senior director and digital strategist for Asia-Pacific.

To support the strong growth in its Australian business, Text 100 has also made a number of new hires, including Jennie Holland as senior account manager, Pip Giles as account manager, Tamara Jawad as senior account executive, Michaela Zucker,Anna Bray and Meredith Gilkes, as account coordinator.

Prior to working at Amnesia, Evans was communications and partnerships manager at youth mental health organisation Headspace.

Adrianne Kern, managing consultant at Text 100 Sydney, said: “Karalee’s appointment will cement our drive to integrate digital communications within the overall PR mix — we have a lot to learn from her in terms of her recent experience at Amnesia Razorfish, plus her digital focus over the past few years at Headspace."
