TBWA Vietnam appoints Patrick Tom as ECD

HO CHI MINH - Patrick Tom (pictured), group creative director, digital creative director and head of art at TBWA Hong Kong, is relocating to Vietnam as ECD.

TBWA Vietnam appoints Patrick Tom as ECD
Prior to joining TBWA Tom was an ECD with Eight Partnership and has spent the last seven years in Asia. He has also had a stint with
Saatchi & Saatchi, Publicis and FCB in the US.

His arrival comes on the heels of newly minted managing director, George Nguyen who landed just this April from StrawberryFrog in New York, and last December's acquisition of Biz Tequila [previously known as Biz Solutions] which strengthened the TBWAGroup's below the line and digital offering in the Vietnamese market.

Nguyen said: "In addition to strong experience here in Asia, Patrick brings a great digital perspective and understanding of how creativity applies to the modern media environment. I couldn't think of a better person to lead us creatively. Plus he's just a real nice guy to work with."
