In the TVC, beautifully arranged Vietnamese meals are being drizzled, dipped and cooked with Heinz Chilli Sauce. Enticed by the flavours, the women behind the voiceover starts salivating before she is able to finish delivering her lines describing the delicious food.
Off camera, a crew member extends a helping hand with a box of tissues to help the announcer catch herself.
"The client's brief to us was to highlight the appetite appeal, Heinz has a great product on their hands," said Patrick Tom, executive creative director at TBWA, "Honestly, the hardest part about the shoot was keeping the talent from finishing off all the food."
"Because the new Heinz Chilli Sauce is specially made for the Vietnamese consumer, it's the perfect sauce for cooking fresh Vietnamese meals everyday," added Dao Bich Diep, product manager for Heinz.
This marks the first campaign since TBWA Vietnam won Heinz's creative account last year.
The country-wide campaign launches this month in time for the Tet (Vietnamese New Year in early February).
