With just over a week to go until the closing date for entries to this year's Tangrams awards on April 20, the annual festival of marketing effectiveness has announced two new jury presidents who will be judging nominations this year.

Erica Kerner, vice president of marketing and communications Asia-Pacific at Tiffany & Co., has been appointed as the head of the Digital Strategy jury.

Kerner has over 20 years of marketing experience in Asia, having joined Tiffany & Co. in 2013 from Ralph Lauren, where she held the same VP role. Prior to this, Kerner worked at Adidas as director of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, helping securing China's first ever Gold Cannes Lion in the process, and she later headed the London 2012 Games programme for Adidas.

Says Kerner of the Digital Strategy category she'll be judging: "With the consumer's ever-increasing reliance on digital platforms, digital marketing has become the frontrunner of any effectiveness strategy and vital to the continued success of any brand looking to reach its intended audience and drive results."

Also appointed as a fellow jury president is Juliana Chu, director of digital and analytics in the Asia-Pacific region for Kimberly-Clark, who will lead the Data & Analytics and the E-commerce juries. Chu brings over a decade of experience in regional FMCG consulting and marketing to the table. She worked as an accontant for Deloitte and as a management consultant for A.T. Kearney in Hong Kong before joining Kimberley-Clark in 2010 and working across Hong Kong and Singapore.

"Last year was a tremendous year of achievements in both categories by many companies in Asia," comments Chu. "I’m looking forward to seeing innovative work in analytics – driven strategies, strategic and innovative applications of data and analytics to drive better marketing and consumer experience –and innovative strategies and solutions that drive e-commerce to the next level”.

Other jury presidents already confirmed are:

  • David Porter, vice president of global media at Unilever AAR (Asia, Africa, Middle East, Turkey & Russia), who heads the Effectiveness jury
  • Josephine Tan, global media director of McDonalds, who will head the Media Strategy jury
