Publicis Modem's Charles Chan expands remit to HK

HONG KONG - Publicis Modem Greater China has extended digital director Charles Chan's role to cover Hong Kong, effective immediately.

Chan is currently digital director for Publicis Modem in Shanghai. He will now oversee the agency in both Shanghai and Hong Kong to serve clients across the Greater China region. He will also be responsible for driving the agency's growth in Hong Kong and diversifying digital services offered to clients.

Chan has now been with Publicis Modem for three years, joining as chief technology officer for Asia before he moved to Shanghai to launch the Modem unit.

“Charles is already a great asset to Publicis Modem and we are very pleased that he is taking on this challenge to continue the dramatic growth we’ve witnessed in the last year at Publicis Modem Hong Kong," said Sue McCusker, general manager of Publicis Hong Kong.

"As part of our management team, Charles will help drive our digitally led integration and diversification to realise world class digital ideas and solutions for our clients,” she added.

Chan has 15 years experience. He was previously SVP director of technology at Digitas Greater China and chief strategy and technology officer at CCG prior to that.
