Publicis appoints new Singapore MD

Publicis Communications Singapore promoted Joanne Theseira to managing director.

Theseira will oversee Publicis Singapore and continue in her role as general manager of design and technology consultancy Nurun. She has previously worked for Digital Arts Network as part of 11 years spent at TBWA.

She is tasked with building the agency’s creative business, and integrating more closely with sister agencies such as MSLGroup. In December, Publicis Singapore won Singapore agency of the year at the 2016 Campaign Asia Agency of the Year Awards, for the second time in a row.

Lou Dela Pena, CEO, Publicis Communications Singapore, praised Theseira's ambition and character and said she has been "a quiet force behind the incredible growth story at Publicis".
