Perform Group appoints Aktiv Digital as exclusive APAC online sales house

UK-based Perform owns and operates the world’s largest video-on-demand platform and ePlayer for premium sports content. The long list of client partnerships include the Premier League, ESPN, Yahoo 7 and Microsoft.

“We are excited to be working with Perform as it allows us to deliver what sports advertisers have been asking for – high quality content reaching a mass audience,” says Matt Sutton, managing director at Aktiv Digital.

Asim Rehman, channel manager at Aktiv Digital, will manage the account and take responsibility for distributing pre-roll TV video inventory across the region's markets. Aktiv Digital will also manage sales agreements with local and international publishers.

“What impressed us about the Aktiv offering and got us interested, was the scale of their sales teams on the ground across APAC and their existing relations with sports brands, furthermore we are excited about the launch of their China office,” said Tim Holland, Perform’s managing director for Asia.

In Asia-Pacific, Perform currently operates in India, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand.
