ASIA PACIFIC - Web analytics provider Omniture and Havas Digital, the interactive arm of Havas Media, have announced a global partnership, under which Havas Digital will roll out Omniture SearchCenter across its key clients.

The intitative will span the agency’s holdings globally via the Media Contacts, Lattitud and iGlue brands.

Havas Digital will train its global search teams to use SearchCenter. The application uses a single interface to help marry paid search campaigns with sales and marketing data.

Seán de Cuirtéis, regional business director of Media Contacts Hong Kong, said: "Omniture is growing in presence in Asia-Pacific and this will allow Media Contacts to leverage its increased presence with our existing and perspective clients in terms of search engine tracking and performance monitoring."

He added: “Site searching tools and tracking technology is not implemented as much in Asia as in markets like the US and Europe. Third-party tracking company DoubleClick is the main payer.”

“This partner relationship provides Havas Digital’s clients with paid search marketing best practices built into Omniture technology, and expands the addressable market for Omniture SearchCenter by providing a channel to reach additional customers,” added Josh James, CEO and co-founder at Omniture.

In September, Adobe Systems announced it was set to acquire Omniture for US$1.8 billion in an effort to bolster and diversify both companies' technological capabilities and client base.
