OMD China inks media deal with Parker

SHANGHAI - OMD China has sealed the media account for renowned century-old pen manufacturer Parker.

The win includes Parker’s media buying and planning for TV, print and outdoor in China.

John Jiang, marketing director for Greater China at Parker, said, “We are looking forward to working with OMD China. We were impressed by OMD China’s insights and overall value proposition and firmly believe that they will be able to do justice in promoting our brand’s visibility and presence in China.”

Parker is a leading manufacturer of writing instruments and has been famous for its pens since 1888. It entered the Chinese market in the 1950’s.

SiewPing Lim, CEO of OMD China, commented on this new account win, “Parker is a legendary brand that is rooted in history and heritage. It is great opportunity that has been given to OMD China and we are glad to be partnering with Parker.”
