Based in Beijing, Wong will hold a dual position as the MD of GBM and continue in his current regional business acceleration position. He will lead the agency in developing opportunities for major global clients in the region.

Paul Heath, CEO of Ogilvy APAC, said, “In 2007 I made a prediction in front of 400 colleagues from around the world: Every office will want a ‘Wong’. I have been more than proved right.”

Shenan Chuang, CEO of Ogilvy Greater China, also commented on Wong’s promotion, “Anthony has been the driving force behind Ogilvy China's business acceleration programme for years. During that time it has been widely recognised by clients for real results achieved and we are now ready to amplify its impact across the Asia-Pacific region.”
