Major agencies shared awards at this year’s China Effie Awards, but nobody took home the Grand Prix.

The awards ceremony was part of the 17th China International Advertising Festival, which opened last Friday to much fanfare in Nanchang, capital of east China's Jiangxi Province.

JWT’s marketing campaign for COFCO’s new drink brand Lohas, won gold awards in the categories of Interactive Effectiveness and Daily Necessities, becoming the biggest winner this year.

Tribal DDB China won the best communications award with its McDonald’s ‘Love McWings’ campaign.

Ogilvy won two golds - Shell campaign in the category of Durable Commodity by its Beijing office, and North Face Red Flag campaign by its Shanghai office in the category of Small Budget - and six silvers and bronzes.

Best creative award went to local agency Guangdong Jiuyi, for its China Mobile G3 campaign.
