The event drew 199 guests from media agencies, media owners and brands, many of whom had just attended the day's Media360Asia conference.

Auction items included Mandarin Oriental spa vouchers donated by Fox, luxury holiday packages, Andy Warhol prints, Wimbledon finals tickets, Augusta golf championship tickets, jewellery items and signed David Bowie prints.

Alia Eyres, CEO of Mother’s Choice, gave a moving speech about the charity and in particular the importance of adoption. After last year’s event, Mother’s Choice worked with Ogilvy, GroupM, Maxus, BeansBox and Hason Lee Photography to launch its first Adoption Awareness-month campaign.

“The media industry plays a pivotal role at Mother’s Choice," Eyres said today. "The evening’s events not only helped us raise much-needed funds, but also gave us access to the creativity, inspiration, and resources of the media industry to help us change perceptions in the community. We are truly grateful to the Media360Asia Charity Dinner for helping us change the lives of girls and babies in Hong Kong.”

"I'm very pleased and proud for GroupM to support the event and most importantly to help boost awareness and funds for Mothers Choice," said Mark Patterson, GroupM Asia-Pacific CEO. "I think everyone in the room was touched and moved by Alia Eyres' words, and it is wonderful to see our industry coming together as one. I would like to thank our co-sponsors OMG too for their support this year, as well as everyone who bought tables from right across the industry."

Added Cheuk Chiang, Asia-Pacific CEO of Omnicom Media Group, “Alia Eyres’ emotional speech really made an impact on all of us last night. Her organisation Mother’s Choice is truly a charity that makes a difference to society, and Omnicom Media Group were proud to partner with GroupM and other supporters across the industry to assist such a noble cause.”

"Haymarket would like to thank GroupM and Omnicom Media Group for their generous support, which allowed us to bring together media industry experts from across the region for the second annual Media360Asia Charity Dinner in aid of Mother’s Choice," said Georgia Proctor, senior project management and events executive. "Following a day of intense debate and detailed insights, it was a delight to see practitioners from across the entire industry spectrum join together for the good of the community. We are proud to support Mother’s Choice and are confident that the funds raised will go a long way to educate and empower the women and babies who so badly need it."
