It invited three agencies, namely Artek & Partners, Oze Indonesia and Macs, which received the brief last month. The pitching was done two weeks ago, while the result is expected to be made known in a further two weeks.

It was learned that Artek & Partners holds the accounts of several brands under the Mayora Group.

This is the first time Mayora has called for a creative pitch for the Roma brand, with the aim of establishing a brand image for it.

Grey Group Indonesia also has some creative businesses from Mayora. In October last year, the agency appointed industry veteran Randy Rinaldi as executive creative director to oversee creative duties across the agency's roster of clients - including Mayora. The agency also has business with Procter & Gamble, GlaxoSmithKline, AXA, Pfizer, Telkom and the Orang Tua Group.

Mayora Indah is divided into six business divisions, namely biscuit, candy, wafer, chocolate, health food and coffee, with more than 10 brands in total. Besides Indonesia, its products are also available in Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Singapore, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Africa, America and Italy.
