Maxus Shanghai appoints Vicky Hsueh as MD
The post has been vacant for over a year.

Hsueh will be responsible for the operational and strategic growth of Maxus' office in Shanghai, reporting to Annie Hsiao, managing partner of Maxus China.

Hsueh was most recently GM of Mindshare Chengdu and Nanjing. Prior to that, she assumed various senior executive roles at Saatchi & Saatchi Taiwan, Mindshare Taiwan, Maximize Taiwan, Tom Group and BBDO Taiwan.

“Over the last few years, business has grown at Maxus, especially local business,” said Hsueh. “The approach to working with local Chinese clients is very different from global clients. China is such a huge market with varying consumer values, lifestyle and climates," she added.

Hsiao said: “I am very excited that someone with the extensive knowledge and experience of Vicky is joining Maxus to head up our Shanghai office. She brings solid market knowledge and client experience to our team and will be a driving force in helping our clients build profitable relationships between consumers and their brands, ”commented Hsiao.

Earlier this month, GroupM Search regional CEO Robbie Hills resigned. The media network will not be replacing him.
