Marco Polo Hotels appoints Noelle Hon as director of communications

HONG KONG - Marco Polo Hotels has appointed Noelle Hon as director of communications for its three properties in Hong Kong - Marco Polo Hong Kong Hotel, Gateway Hotel, and Prince Hotel.

Hon is responsible for enhancing the recognition of Marco Polo Hotels in Hong Kong, overseeing both online and offline marketing communications, maintaining relationships with PR, media and design agencies in the region, identifying potential promotional partnership, and CRM of the hotels.

"We are delighted to have Noelle on board to be part of the Group's expansion plan and development with her exceptional solid experience and insights in marketing and communications," said Mark Heywood, general manager of Marco Polo Hong Kong Hotel.

Hon joined Marco Polo from One Media Group, where she had been working as marketing and corporate communications director since late 2007. Prior to that, she held a dual role as the chief investor relations officer for Asiamart and chief executive officer for Maximum Media between 2004 and 2007.
