Lowe relocates Ng Tian It to Singapore as CCO, hires Norman Tan as CCO China

ASIA PACIFIC - Lowe has strengthened its creative heads in the key Asean and China markets relocating Ng Tian It (pictured) from Shanghai to Singapore and hiring Norman Tan as chief creative officer for China.

Ng has moved from Shanghai to Singapore and has been promoted to the newly-created role of chief creative officer of Lowe Singapore, while Tan, the former regional creative director of Bates, has joined the agency as chief creative officer of Lowe China. He will be based in Shanghai.

Besides Bates, Tan has also worked at Grey, Leo Burnett and JWT and has considerable experience across the Asia-Pacific region, working on leading international brands such as Heineken, Shell, Nokia and McDonald’s. Tan has over 300 creative awards to his name.

Ng will also hold the position of global creative director of Unilever Clear Brand, and has been invited to join the management board of Lowe Southeast Asia Region. With over 15 years of work experience, he has worked on several global brands including Unilever’s OMO, Clear and Walls Ice Cream, Singapore Airlines, Audi, McDonald's, IKEA, Prudential and Citibank. He is also the recipient of many international awards, including Cannes Lions, Clios, D&AD and Creative Circle.

, said that Ng It will complete the 're-engineered management structure' that has seen the development of a fully-fledged team to handle global and regional assignments. "He has worked on a long list of world-class brands and has great international experience to bring back to Singapore."

Kitty Lun, chairman and CEO Lowe China called Tan "an admirable creative talent."

"To have him on board takes us one major step closer to achieving our ambitions for Lowe China. He has been in China for a long time, and has a very deep understanding of the Chinese market. Norman will bring fresh vitality to Lowe China and I look forward to working with him.”

Tony Wright, chairman of Lowe Worldwide, said that the Asia-Pacific region is of paramount importance to Lowe, and the agency has "worked hard to put the best strategic, management and creative talent in place, and also recently announced a new Asean management board."
